In order to access this bliss, and realize our identity with it, one must free up a sufficient amount of energy and attention from the "normal" distractions in order to realize existence as inherent unconditional happiness.
Sounds easy, right? Maybe, but maybe not! We are all heavily conditioned right from our birth - and possibly before. We animate a multitude of presumptions about ourselves and our condition, which upon close scrutiny, proves to be erroneous. Therefore, a certain deconditioning has to take place. Not only in the mind and its expressions, but also in the emotions and in the body. The body and mind are so completely inseparable, whatever affects one, affects the other.
The yogis, knowing this, set out to free themselves by various approaches and practices. Some examples are: using the breath and the body (Hatha Yoga); using the mind and meditation (Raja Yoga); using an emotional, devotional approach (Bhakti Yoga) to love yourself to freedom. There are many, many different forms and combinations of yoga.
Music profoundly affects us with the ability to elicit various emotional and mental states, which in turn, affect the body. Filmmakers know this well, skillfully using music "suggesting" certain moods to generate reactions from the audience. I unite music and yoga in an enjoyable way for people to experience yoga that transcends tradition, promotes joy, and serves as an adjunct for healing.
